37+ Years Railroads Experience
We started working with Railroads in 1984, in a first responder capacity. Since then our understanding of how passenger and freight systems operate, the similarities and contrasts, has developed significantly, to say the least. Our range of services that are available to rail systems also has expanded greatly.
Whether we are providing Pettibones with dual scrubbers for a subway project, narrow-gauge hi-rail gear for a light rail operation, or standard gauge equipment for a freight spur, we take the time to adequately prepare a detailed work plan.
We have designed equipment to remove fifty-year-old 60 ton transformers from deep within a subway system, all of which passed dynamometer testing and were design compliant with AREA manuals.
At the same time, our crews have removed and replaced track where underground storage tanks or other ground excavation and remediation were required. Abandoned siding removal, bridge, and culvert demolition, track recycling, and tie disposal are all examples of typical successfully completed projects.
